NIHR Receives the Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of Canada

Eng. Ali Ahmed Al-Derazi, Chairman of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), received Mrs. Gwyneth Kutz, Chargé d'Affairs of the Canadian Embassy accredited to the Kingdom of Bahrain, residing in Riyadh.
During the meeting, Al-Derazi presented an overview of the NIHR's mechanism of action and its role in spreading, promoting and protecting human rights in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and discussed a number of issues of common concern and ways to enhance cooperation between the two sides.
For her part, Ms. Kutz commended the NIHR's role in protecting and promoting human rights in the Kingdom of Bahrain, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people further progress and prosperity.
